    + GENERAL SUMMARY

    + The Membership and Marketing Coordinator operates in a fast-paced environment utilizing administrative, clerical, creative and customer service skills and organizational knowledge to communicating with prospective and current members of the organization. Self-direction and the ability to function as part of a team is required. Under general supervision of Executive Director, the Membership and Marketing Coordinator supports fundraising efforts at organizational and volunteer levels, manages organization’s social media, and website and volunteer event promotional collateral. Facilitates volunteer activities and member development programs to include (but not limited to) recruitment, recognition and retention. Reports to department leadership.

    + ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Coordinates and manages a variety of activities, including member cultivation/solicitation in support of meeting the established Circle and organizational fundraising goals.

    + Develops promotional collateral including the design, creation and distribution of items, using software such as, desktop publishing, Canva, Adobe and other platforms or by directing others who develop promotional items. Items developed include but are not limited to flyers, e-blasts, the KD website Instagram and Social media images.

    + Monitors fundraising activities in order to provide appropriate and timely support and follow through.

    + Provides overall support to all Circle members as needed, assists in the coordination and attendance of events/projects.

    + Maintains the organizations social media (including Facebook, Instagram) and assisting in maintaining the organizations website.

    + Plans and implements various events (Major Projects) of the organization, coordinating and executing all aspects from venue site visits, design and creation/implementation of graphics for print material and digital, solicitation of sponsorships solicitation of volunteers needed, sets up and monitors ticket sales, oversees event day of events.

    + Attends event committee meetings and works other Major Projects as needed.

    + Work as part of a team to help maintain accurate reporting in the organizations database. Maintain active relationships with community professional organizations attending networking/other events as an ambassador of the organization.

    + LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

    + Required Licenses and/or Certifications

    + Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

    + Preferred Licenses and/or Certifications

    + None preferred.

    + MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    + Required Education and Experience

    + Experience managing social media accounts (preferably for non-profit/mission driven) required.

    + Experience with analytic tools e.g. Meta Business required.

    + Familiarity with paid social media/ads required.

    + Preferred Education and Experience

    + + Associate's degree in related field preferred.

    + + Experience working with volunteers, non-profit organizations, including experience coordinating large events preferred.

    + Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    + Knowledge of social media platform features, reels, stories, etc.

    + Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, writing, public speaking, organizational and computer skills.

    + Strong proficiency and technical aptitude in MS Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.

    + Local travel required utilizing personal vehicle.

    + Must be available to work occasional nights/weekends.

    + Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    + Basic graphic design skills, ability to create visual content and video editing skills preferred.

    + WORKING CONDITIONS

    + Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Some work outdoors, in evenings/weekends and some lifting involved.
