Our client, a leading organization in the finance sector, is seeking a Payroll Accountant Analyst to join their team.The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Payroll Accountant Analyst

**Location:** New York, New York

Pay Range: $40.00/hour - $45.00/hour

What's the Job?

+ Verify accuracy of information provided on the monthly payroll files to ensure that employees are paid correctly and within the payroll deadlines.

+ Complete detailed monthly payroll variance analysis and reconciliation to inform management of variances that require further review.

+ Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.

+ Identify gaps and seek opportunities for continuous payroll process improvement and suggest appropriate corrective action to Senior Management which can simplify, automate, improve accuracy and/or enhance controls.

+ Identify payroll trends and share recommendations for improvement with the team.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

+ Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll accounting or a similar role.

+ Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.

+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
