Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Camarillo, California. In this role, you will support the financial operations by managing accounts receivable, reconciling bank accounts, and ensuring accurate reporting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential accounting functions while working collaboratively with a dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Reconcile bank accounts and subsidiary ledgers to maintain accurate financial records.

• Assist in monthly closings by preparing necessary reports and documentation.

• Perform general accounting tasks, including payment processing and resolving discrepancies.

• Support accounts payable activities by verifying and processing payments.

• Handle ad hoc financial and clerical duties as needed to support the accounting team.

• Ensure compliance with established financial procedures and reporting standards.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to accounting functions promptly.

• Contribute to the segmentation and organization of financial data for reporting purposes.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all accounting activities. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting roles.

• Strong knowledge of financial procedures and reporting standards.

• Proficiency in reconciling bank accounts and subsidiary ledgers.

• Ability to handle payment processing and resolve discrepancies effectively.

• Familiarity with monthly closings and preparing financial documentation.

• Excellent organizational and clerical skills with attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving abilities to address accounting-related issues.

• Proficient in using accounting software and tools for reporting and data management.
