Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a non-profit organization in Rochester, New York. This is a long-term contract position that requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in managing accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will play a central role in ensuring timely collections, accurate billing, and efficient cash application processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee accounts receivable operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.

• Handle commercial collections by communicating effectively with clients to resolve outstanding payments.

• Process cash applications promptly and ensure proper allocation to the correct accounts.

• Execute cash collection strategies to meet financial goals and maintain cash flow.

• Perform billing functions, including invoice preparation and reconciliation.

• Utilize FUND E-Z software to maintain financial records and streamline processes.

• Monitor and report on accounts receivable aging to identify and address overdue accounts.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve collection efficiency.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all accounts receivable activities for auditing and reporting purposes.

• Provide exceptional customer service when addressing payment inquiries and concerns. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable operations, preferably within a non-profit environment.

• Expertise in commercial collections and cash application processes.

• Proficiency in FUND E-Z software or similar financial systems.

• Strong skills in billing and invoice reconciliation.

• Ability to analyze accounts receivable aging and implement effective collection strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing client relationships.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet organizational goals.
