Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team in Central Ohio. This is a contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to key human resources functions while fostering a positive and compliant workplace. The ideal candidate will bring over seven years of HR Generalist expertise and a strong ability to handle complex employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to organizational policies.
• Conduct thorough investigations to address workplace conflicts and recommend solutions aligned with legal and organizational standards.
• Review and update HR policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance on employment-related laws to support investigations and compliance efforts.
• Administer employee benefits programs, addressing inquiries and ensuring timely processing.
• Collaborate with leadership to support strategic HR initiatives and improve overall employee engagement.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on sensitive HR matters, offering expert recommendations and insights.
• Deliver training and communication to managers and employees on HR policies and best practices.
Requirements
• Minimum of seven years of experience as an HR Generalist, with a preference for candidates with 8-10 years.
• In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
• Proven expertise in handling complex employee relations and conducting workplace investigations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise and collaborate effectively.
• High level of discretion and professionalism in managing sensitive HR issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
