• Junior Application Support Analyst

    Robert Half Technology (Morris Plains, NJ)


    Description

    This role is responsible for learning new applications by shadowing support analysts. After learning and becoming comfortable with the necessary application information, the candidate will field support calls and develop new enhancements to applications.

     

    + Work with Application Support Team fielding support tickets within different application areas

    + Work with the Application Support Team to create and modify different areas of the Electronic Content Management suite, including documents, workflows, and integrations

    + Work as part of an IT team to deliver new releases to Project Sponsors and end Users, discuss and prioritize defects with Application Development Manager and ensure problem resolution/escalation

    + Assist other team members, Developers and Users throughout the development process (i.e. work with users to solve front line supporting issues)

    + Monitor performance of all new and existing OnBase software across the organization.

    + Learn appropriate software modules used and supported by the organization.

    + Learn and engage in supporting and developing Power BI Reports

    + Occasional travel for training is required.

    Requirements

    Skills/Experience:

    + Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field

    + 0-1 years of general IT experience

    + Ability to deconstruct user requirements

    + Basic programming experience in language of choice

    + Ability to work independently without close supervision, as well as within a team

    + Strong Microsoft Office Skills

    + Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    + Strong organization skills with keen attention to detail.

    + Exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills (focus on customer service orientation).

    + Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

    + Some domestic and international travel may be required

    Preferred:

    + Experience working with HTML, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, jQuery.

    + Knowledge of Document Management (ECM) and Workflow Software.

    + Experience working with the OnBase Document Management System.

    + Experience with Power BI
