    Description

At Amazon Air (AIR), process-driven techniques help us deliver smiles to both our internal and external customers daily. AIR embraces multiple problem-solving approaches with consideration and respect for each other. Our diversity unites us, and your thoughts, ideas, and contributions are highly valued in addressing any challenge we encounter. There is no limit to how high you can "soar" in AIR.

As a Supply Chain Manager for AIR Central Planning, you will analyze and resolve complex network challenges across our blue badge (BB) sites. Your role will involve assessing daily operational disruptions, material handling equipment (MHE) limitations, and capacity constraints. You'll use these insights to make strategic decisions about capacity optimization and resource allocation, ensuring our network operates efficiently and effectively.

You will partner closely with the Labor Planning team to provide feedback and process update recommendations to further automate and optimize workstreams.

    - Lead cross-functional initiatives to address network disruptions and optimize capacity at blue badge sites

    - Analyze operational data and implement strategic solutions to improve network efficiency

    - Travel domestically up to 15% of the time to various facilities in the Amazon network

    A day in the life

You'll tackle challenges to boost capacity across our AIR network, enhancing our service to customers. Your role involves analyzing prior week plans, latest demand signals, and current network disruptions. You'll run daily optimization plans to identify capacity improvement opportunities within the AIR blue badge network. Managing day-before (D-1) labor postings and setting new volume expectations will be key responsibilities. Your decisions will directly influence our network's efficiency and our ability to meet customer needs. This role offers a perfect blend of strategic thinking, data analysis, and practical problem-solving in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
