The Worldwide(WW) Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Insights and Planning team’s mission is to drive the global growth of the FBA business by identifying business opportunities through analysis and leading optimization initiatives that align with FBA’s 10-Year Vision.
This newly created, high visibility, single-threaded role is focused on spearheading the programmatic effort to standardize key business metrics and data tables across the WW FBA business by working closely with business leaders and data teams. This role requires a critical thinking individual who will not only standardize, but also challenge the current way we view the FBA business.
This role will work to improving how we view the business and also ensure that every team works from the same accurate information to make key business decisions. This will cut manual effort, reduce rework, and give leaders confidence that metrics are consistent and comparable across reviews, dashboards, and deep dives. The ideal candidate will possess analytical skills, cross-functional leadership experience, and a passion for technological advancement in e-commerce logistics.
Key job responsibilities
* Define the WW strategy for business metric standardization for FBA and drive alignment with key stakeholders.
* Implement standard workflow for metric definition add/subtract or change request
* Partner with Product, Science, Economics, Category, Business and Finance teams to align on key metrics and data to deliver a scalable product solution.
* Define a WW roadmap in partnership with regions within FBA
* Report performance via mechanisms across orgs through key leadership reports.
* Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with audiences of all levels and geographies, including senior leaders
* Continuously raises the bar on the quality of written communications across emails, Amazon business documents by communicating clear messages that foster productive discussions and facilitate alignment on key priorities and investments
About the team
The success of WW FBA is synonymous with that of our sellers, and the WW FBA Planning Team is on a mission to help ensure that success. The WW FBA Planning team leads WW strategies and initiatives focused on specific business segments (ex. Everyday Essentials) to improve the customer experience, drive seller success by shaping initiatives and policies to allow for continued growth, and reducing overall cost to serve.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience managing stakeholders and partners to drive cross functional programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
