We are seeking an experienced and driven Manager/Senior Manager to join our Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting team. This role is critical for ensuring the company’s financial statements are accurate, timely, and compliant with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. You will lead complex accounting projects, drive process improvements, and provide technical expertise to cross-functional teams (Treasury, Tax, Legal, M&A, Divisional Finance).
Responsibilities:
+ Lead the preparation, review, and analysis of quarterly and annual financial statements
+ Coordinate and manage the external audit process; serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors, ensuring effective communication and timely completion of audit deliverables.
+ Oversee the implementation and interpretation of new accounting standards, perform technical accounting research, and document accounting positions and memos.
+ Provide expert guidance on complex accounting topics, including revenue recognition, pension and post-retirement benefits, business combinations, leases, and financial instruments.Lead the preparation, review and analysis of pension plan financial statementsManage and mentor a team of financial professionals, fostering professional growth and driving high performance.
+ Maintain the Company’s accounting policies and assist the global finance organization in the application and adherence to the policies
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
+ CPA
+ 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting
+ 3+ years of experience with a Big-4 public accounting firm, with a strong understanding of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting processes
+ Strong technical accounting research skills and ability to translate complex accounting concepts to non-experts
+ Expertise in Workiva or similar platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in a managerial role in a corporate environment
+ Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
+ Proactive mindset with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
