As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, playing a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, responding to security-related incidents, and providing clear communication and exceptional customer service. You will utilize technology such as alarm panels and computers or tablets to support your daily tasks. By maintaining a visible presence at the front desk, you help to deter potential security-related issues and contribute to a positive experience for everyone entering the facility. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and guests by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.

+ Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports.

+ Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

+ Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.

+ Support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the front desk area.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
