As a **Security Professional - Armed Patrol Officer** in **Wauchula, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to be prepared to respond to incidents and situations as they arise, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed patrol post.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to established procedures.

+ Interact professionally with members of the public, staff, and law enforcement personnel as required.

+ Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any security-related issues to the appropriate parties.

+ Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for armed personnel, including proper handling and storage of assigned equipment.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.

+ Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or have an equivalent qualification. This requirement may be completed post hire if not already met.

+ A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
