FAMILY SUPPORT SPECIALIST - MENTAL / BEHAVIORAL HEALTH - BARRY COUNTY

Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work , Psychology or a related field? We are looking for a person-centered Family Support Specialist with a minimum of one year of clinical experience working with SUD clientele, f amiliarity with SUD documentation and p rior experience working with an interdisciplinary team. The Family Support Specialist provides clinical services to clients and families in the BARRY COUNTY AREA and is responsible for the home-based substance use disorder services that include assessment, treatment plan, quarterly reviews and any therapeutic services they deliver.

J ob Qualifications

Education, Training, and Licensure/ Certification

+ Bachelor’s degree in Social Work , Psychology or a related field required .

+ Two years of clinical experience working with SUD clientele preferred

+ Prior experience working with an interdisciplinary team preferred

Experience

+ Minimum one year SUD counseling experience preferred.

+ Minimum Experience working on a team preferred.

+ Familiarity with SUD documentation preferred .

Additional Work Requirements

+ Travel to and provide services in outpatient and outreach settings required . Valid driver’s license with good driving record , proof of automobile insurance , and reliable ongoing personal transportation suitable for safely transporting persons served .
