    Position: Propane Station Attendant

     

    Reports to: Branch Manager

     

    Hourly Rate: $18 - $20

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- include and are not limited to:

    + Possess a valid driver’s license.

    + Work in outdoor weather conditions with exposure to gasoline/propane fumes, cleaning products and the elements.

    + Operates mechanical sweepers and snow blowers in the cleaning of yards and related areas.

    + Be able to meet the physical demands such as transporting and moving store products and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. (including shoveling snow) when needed.

    + Be able to react to a fire by using a fire extinguisher weighing 25 pounds and transporting it to the fire area.

    + Comply with all policies and procedures in company provided handbooks and or manuals at all times.

    + Must be able to successfully complete a pre-functional evaluation.

    + Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen.

    + Maintain clean and well kept appearance, wear company provided garments.

    + Maintain safety and compliance records 100% of the time.

    + Adhere to company policies and procedures 100% of the time.

    RESPONSIBILITIES – include and are not limited to:

    + Provide enthusiastic customer service to all customers.

    + Keeps designated areas in orderly condition.

    + Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipment when needed.

    + Pump tank experience a plus or willing to be trained.

    + Performs other job related activities and special projects as assigned

    + Provide oneself with a reliable means of transportation to and from work and the ability to be reached by telephone.

    + Flexibility to accommodate sudden schedule changes.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS– include and are not limited to

     

    + A high school diploma/GED

    + Ability to work on weekends
