    About the Role & Program

     

    The Tax Data Management & Innovation Intern will play a key role in developing the tax function using technology. In addition, this position will assist with identifying the technology needs of tax to provide support to our businesses and the rapidly changing external tax regulatory landscape.

     

    In this role, you will support tax system updates/improvements (e.g., Vertex, ONESOURCE) and tax service integration projects, partnering closely with tax and non-tax business partners (Technology, Finance, Controllership, and Financial System partners). This role will support tax systems implementations, enhancements, administration, tax consolidation processes and e-filing.

     

    This internship is a** **full-time, four-month** **commitment in the** **Orlando, FL** **area from** **September 2025-December 2025** **.

     

    What You Will Do

    As a Tax Data Management & Innovation Graduate Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:

    Assist with projects related to business and finance initiatives, prioritizing and managing a slate of overlapping tax requirements, gathering, documenting, and testing.

     

    Support tax aspects of major business initiatives, including requirement planning, testing, communication & training.

     

    Assist in the maintenance and support of ONESOURCE Income Tax and ONESOURCE DataFlow applications.

     

    Provide support for project management and collaboration tools, including Workfront and SharePoint.

     

    Maintain high levels of support by solving issues and responding to requests for data and reports.

     

    Collaborate with team members to develop and implement process improvements.

     

    Required Qualifications & Skills

     

    Curiosity about tax and technology

     

    Proven problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail/accuracy

     

    Self-starter with the ability to work independently

     

    Strong time management and organizational skills

     

    Excellent interpersonal skills

     

    Demonstrated computer skills (e.g., Alteryx, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, APIs, Python, Power Apps, Power BI)

    Preferred Qualifications

    Prior experience with the ONESOURCE suite of software applications

     

    Experience with Alteryx or Python

    Education

    Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or a related quantitative or technical field

     

    Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

    Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

    Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a graduate degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

     

    Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

     

    Be at least 18 years of age

     

    Possess unrestricted work authorization

     

    Additional Information

     

    Candidate must be fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.

     

    This internship is an on-site position, but also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace for the days you may work from home.

     

    Able to provide your own housing and reliable transportation for the duration of the internship program

    The pay rate for this role in Florida is $30.40 per hour.
