Structural Revit Designer

Job Description

AECOM seeks to hire a **Structural Revit Designer** for our Chelmsford MA office. This position is intended to support structural and other disciplines with the model and drawing production of a variety of new and retrofit facilities to support the water business line, such as Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants.

+ Create initial Revit model project setup with workflow documents.

+ Support the development of the Revit model for each project/discipline.

+ Work as part of a BIM/Revit support team to achieve consistent results.

+ Support the daily Revit model management, administration and maintenance.

+ Support the Structural Engineer with the drawing development and layout.

+ Help to develop BIM Content: Families such as parametric, formula nested and type catalogs.

+ Work with vendors on content download and update to Company Standards.

+ Support linked views and others in multiple models situation.

+ Ability to meet quality, schedule and budget expectations.

+ Integrate REVIT products with other applications (Autodesk, Construction, Cost Estimation).

+ Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and schedules.

+ Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed.

+ Must be a highly motivated self-starter.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

+ BA/BS Degree + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

+ Experience in Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM360, Navisworks, etc.

+ Experience in AutoCAD.

+ Ability to work with a diverse team located in the Chelmsford Design Center.

+ Due to the nature of this role U.S. Citizenship is required.

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work.

+ Experienced, self-directed professional.

+ Detail-oriented and technical yet experienced enough to see the big picture.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00.
