    Company description

Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) is a world-famous creative agency that makes jaw-dropping, thumb-stopping, eye-opening work for brands across the globe. Founded in London in 1982, we now have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Stockholm, Mumbai, Singapore, and Shanghai. Our first ad for Levi’s showed a black sheep travelling in the opposite direction to a flock of white ones. That’s where we got our logo and our guiding philosophy: when the world zigs, zag. Why? Because it’s easy to zig, to go with the grain. It feels safe. It feels like the sensible thing to do. But the greater risk is failing to stand out. We believe in the power of difference to make a difference.

Our goal is a simple one: make the best work in the world. That’s where you come in. We need rebels, dreamers, thinkers, mathematicians, makers, artists, visionaries, doers, observers, the different and the unreasonable. We need Black Sheep. People who want to make the hearts flutter and minds do flips, who can change businesses and culture. People who want to make a difference, come here for something different.

    Overview

We are currently looking for an **Account Executive** to join our team supporting a QSR client.

At BBH, members of the account management department are expected to be business partners - both externally with our clients, and internally with each member of a cross functional team. The account people should use their deep knowledge and understanding of the clients business in order to create the best conditions for the right work to thrive, leading to the success and growth of both our partners and our agency. The ideal account person is a leader, someone with the tenacity, resourcefulness, business sense, pro-active curiosity, emotional intelligence and cool-headedness to behave like the CEO of their account, brand or project.

The account person is the only person in the agency who touches every aspect of a project in some way: from the relationship with the client, to the relationship with the team, from strategy to finance to creative to production. It is ultimately the role of an account person at any level to ensure that a project meets the client and agency’s ambitions to generate great, effective creative work, on time and on budget, and to motivate the team along the way.

    Responsibilities

The **Account Executive** delights in the details, in order to support the team and keep projects on track. They are a consummate team player, always willing to go the extra mile in the push from ‘good’ to ‘great’. They have a can-do spirit and the energy to support teams going through tough processes but aren’t afraid to ask for help when they aren’t clear. They have a ‘no task too big, no task too small’ mentality and will be expected to manage their own projects while supporting the team.

    Client Partnership

    • Building relationships with clients based on trust through flawless administration and reliability

    • Communicating with clients as needed to ensure that any client requests are addressed in partnership with other members of the team

    • Taking the time to learn about the client’s business and competitive landscape, in order to start to build a picture of how the agency can help the client to achieve their ambitions

    Project Management

    • Project managing the internal agency process in collaboration with other members of the account and operations teams

    • Managing the flow of information across cross-functional teams within the agency

    • Scheduling internal reviews and external client presentations • Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects, ensuring that deadlines are met

    Team Administration

    • Handling miscellaneous team and client requests

    • Ensuring that files are properly stored and managed

    • Attending internal meetings and following up with summary notes and detailed next steps to keep projects on track

    • Becoming the lynchpin within the account team. From scheduling meetings, to writing presentations; from late night meals to helping to win pitches; from contact reports to client events - the Account Manager has all the skills required to get to great work in the day-to-day

    • Contributing to a positive, friendly and vibrant environment within the team and also the wider agency

    Training and Development

    • Proactively taking the initiative to grow, being intentional with your own career progression, and eager to learn • Developing an intimate understanding of how an agency functions, the role and interplay between each of the departments, and the principles of excellent client partnership

    • Actively participating in all formal and informal training sessions

    Qualifications

    • 2-3+ years of relatable experience in client service and/or project management

    • Solutions-oriented; always has solutions in mind when managing up

    • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at once

    • Extremely diligent and organized

    • Strong oral and written communication skills

    • Strong interpersonal skills

    • A passion for creativity
