    Description

    **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Equipment Operators** for projects located in the **Fayetteville, NC area** . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is **$24-25/hour** based on experience and skill level.If you are an Equipment Operator eager to master your skills alongside other accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!

    Job Scope:

    + Operate a variety of heavy equipment: excavator/trackhoe loader backhoe bulldozer dump truck tamper and water truck

    + Conduct routine inspections on equipment including moving parts, welds, and structural integrity prior to operating

    + Inform supervisor of all defects and malfunctions

    + Perform minor adjustments as needed

    + Assist mechanic with major repairs

    + Perform routine maintenance including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning equipment

    + Monitor gauges and other indicators ensuring safe operation

    + Grade, shape, and form work area

    + Backfill, spread, fill & stabilize stone

    + Load trucks and dump buckets

    + Transport dump buckets

    + Move equipment including rigging and attaching equipment to bucket hook

    + Adhere to all safety rules guidelines and codes

    + Maintain records of time worked and materials used

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    + Prior experience

    + Pass a drug screen, and background check
