Responsibilities
What You'll Do:

+ V2X is seeking a proven and dynamic Program Manager (VP-level) to lead our execution of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Global Logistics Support Services (GLSS) program onsite working with the Commonwealth of Kentucky. This person will report to our Sr. VP of Aerospace Systems.
+ This position requires exceptional interpersonal communication and formal presentation skills; ability to interact with senior executives (both internal and external customers) in the development of long-term strategic goals. The selected leader will serve as the senior customer interface and hold full authority and accountability for contract performance, cost, schedule, risk management, compliance, and mission success across all supported SOF and related activities.
+ As the executive lead, the SOF GLSS PM will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and cross-functional coordination for a geographically dispersed workforce supporting critical sustainment, logistics, maintenance, and supply chain operations in support of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). This position requires a strong blend of business acumen, mission understanding, and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Serve as the senior leader for the SOF GLSS contract, overseeing all aspects of performance, staffing, risk, compliance, and financial outcomes
+ Maintain direct interface and trusted partnership with senior government stakeholders including USSOCOM leadership, program contracting officers, and technical representatives
+ Lead and coordinate a team of program directors, operations managers, and functional leads (HR, finance, contracts, logistics, etc.) to deliver program objectives
+ Drive operational excellence, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, quality control, and mission readiness across multiple locations
+ Oversee program financials including P&L accountability, forecasting, contract modifications, cost controls, and reporting in coordination with corporate leadership
+ Support proposal development and re-compete strategy, and capture planning for contract renewals
+ Lead large task order bids and responses
+ Cultivate a high-performance culture emphasizing collaboration, ethical conduct, customer satisfaction, and team development
+ Support corporate leadership in strategic planning and alignment of SOF GLSS with enterprise objectives
+ Supervisory/Budget Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage large cross-functional team
+ Manage program-level budget, including direct/indirect costs
+ Develop and monitor EACs
+ Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations as required
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
+ Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred
+ Experience:
+ Minimum of 15 years of experience managing large-scale government programs, with at least 10 years supporting DoD logistics, sustainment, or maintenance operations
+ Proven leadership experience managing large-scale, complex, multi-site programs
+ Experience working directly with USSOCOM or SOF components preferred
+ Deep understanding of FAR/DFARS, government contracting, and performance-based logistics (PBL) models.
+ Creating executive briefings and formal communications to company and government key personnel
+ Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with internal teams and external customers in the development of long-term strategies
+ Preferred Experience and Qualifications
+ Experience leading recompete or proposal efforts on large-scale government contracts
+ Experience driving efficiencies, cost savings, process improvements
+ Familiarity with USSOCOM organization (components) and mission sets
+ Familiarity with ISO, AS9100, or other quality and safety systems applicable to defense programs
+ Certification:
+ PMP certification or equivalent program management credential
+ Other Requirement:
+ United States citizenship.
+ Software:
+ Proficient in MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
+ Technology:
+ Standard office technology, such as laptop, phone, printer/copier, video conferencing tools

+ The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
+ The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
+ USD $240,000 - 280,000
+ Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
