We’re searching for a Senior Field Service Technician II to join our growing Field Service team and play a key role in driving our vision forward.
What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Field Service Technician II, you will be at the heart of our customer experience and technical excellence, providing expert-level support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Luminator’s products. You’ll:
+ Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Luminator hardware and software systems.
+ Implement and install new equipment on-site, providing training and support to customers.
+ Deliver hands-on technical services and mentor junior technicians to elevate field capabilities.
+ Conduct on-site service work including pre-start-up, start-up, warranty, and troubleshooting.
+ Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring equipment is operational and defect-free.
+ Accurately document all service activities and maintenance tasks.
+ Collaborate with plant operators, management, and third-party vendors to support service operations.
+ Develop and deliver training content and hands-on courses for internal and external stakeholders.
+ Participate in upgrades, new installations, and customer-specific projects.
+ Promote process improvements and maintain strong customer relationships.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
+ Strong knowledge of customer service principles, repair techniques, and technical documentation.
+ Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining electronic equipment.
+ Experience mentoring and training technical staff.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ 4+ years of field service experience in technical or engineering services; military electronics experience may be considered.
+ Clean DMV record and valid driver’s license required.
+ OSHA training preferred.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
+ Experience with service contracts and technical documentation.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
