Line Lead, Flint Michigan

The Opportunity:

The Line Lead is responsible for overseeing a production line within the Flint Michigan Warehouse and ensuring maximum productivity and quality.

How you will impact Packaging Solutions, Smurfit Westrock:

* Partner with Team Leads to ensure staff members are assigned tasks as outlined in the work order and assist with training.

* Work side by side with crew to prepare product for customers that include:

* Pack product of varying type

* Unpack/Repackage product of varying type

* Build product bundles of supplies

* Build mailing packets

* Box printing

* Box labeling

* Receive new and returned product

* Log and track production documentation

* Ensure safety and quality standards at all times.

* Other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* One or more year(s) experience leading a crew in a production environment: corrugated manufacturing plant environment preferred

* General fluency in English required, verbal and written

* Basic computer literacy.

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
