    Multi Site Security Officer – Part Time

    **Location:** Edwardsville, IL

    **Rate:** $17.00/HR

    What Your Day May Look Like:

    + Conflict resolution and De-escalation.

    + Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.

    + Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

    + Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.

    + Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.

    + Provide detailed written witness reports.

    Position Requirements:

    + Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.

    + Must have a high school diploma or GED or be willing to complete the GED program within six months.

    + Must have average to above average computer skills.

    + Customer service background preferred.

    + Security experience a plus.

    + Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.

    + Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.

    + Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.

    + Will require open/flexible availability (nights, weekends, & holidays included).

    + Valid drivers license and a clean driving record needed (this position does require driver certification).

    + Reliable transportation required (public transportation is not recommended for this position).

    + Reliable form of communication needed.

    + Must be comfortable with frequent standing / walking which may be for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs / walking up inclines and/or being in various weather elements.

    + Must be willing to participate in the Company’s Security Officer pre-employment screening process, including drug screen (mouth swab and/or urinalyses) and background investigation (drub screen includes THC).

    + Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

    + Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
