Job Purpose** **:
The Sales Associate provides proactive support for specific customers within an assigned segment, by calling on customers and managing all contracts for these assigned customers. This position ensures that we retain the business and maintain customer revenue. The Sales Associate will be responsible to assist sales staff with ensuring the fulfillment of sales agreements through assisting customers, contract execution, product and services installment, and other sales activities.
Essential Functions** **:
+ Manage the sales activities to ensure achievement of sales targets.
+ Interface with business customers within assigned account base (module) to further develop sales opportunities to closed sales and build long term relationships with customers. Attain assigned sales commitment through: Protection of revenue base through the renewal of network; Maintenance services; Generation of new revenues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
+ Provide customer service in all business relationships that fosters attention to detail; enhances the value of the customer and increases customer loyalty. Cultivate customer relationships and advocate customer needs with other HT products/services to develop new sales opportunities and "second" sales opportunities.
+ Be innovative in seeking ways to recommend HT products and services to customers to meet their business requirements and close additional sales.
+ Develop/maintain a general knowledge of all products/services.
+ Communicate regularly with Account Managers and customers to develop new opportunities.
+ Effectively and efficiently work with support resources in order to meet customer needs and requirements. Ensure fulfillment of the SOW -- sales handoff package.
+ Provide outstanding customer service.
+ Complete administrative responsibilities on time that includes Sales requests, customer-related functions, and sales funnel management.
+ Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to resolve customer issues and minimize complaints.
+ Ensure accurate ordering and installation of network services and data.
+ Develop/maintain expertise on process flows and system knowledge as they become available.
+ Meet with manager/team/coaching and development; working effectively with support groups: maintaining timely and accurate information into SalesForce/Cloudsense .
Education** **:
Four years of High School or equivalent
Relevant Work Experience:
1 to 3 years in related field
Sales experience preferred
**Supervisory Responsibility** **:** This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities
Hourly Rate: $26.44 - $39.66
