The Opportunity:
Serves as a Sr. Functional Test Engineer for the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A) - once complete IPPS-A will be the largest integrated personnel and pay system in the world! Works under minimal supervision, performs tasks related to (functional, 508 Compliance, regression, performance, load, end-to-end, information assurance, integration, and security) testing of the PeopleSoft-based IPPS-A enterprise resource planning (ERP) system using manual and automated test tools. Writes and executes test cases, investigates and analyzes test results, and builds and maintains automated regression test suites and integrates them into build processes. Works with business analysts to understand the system design and works with developers to resolve defects. Works with the Senior Test Lead to ensure test processes and procedures are followed.
Responsibilities:
Update/maintain detailed test plans; develops test scenarios and test scripts; and, traces requirements to test cases to ensure coverage for full system integration test
• Ensures functional and technical requirements are met through system testing, regression testing, performance testing, system interface testing, and security testing activities
• Execute payroll and disbursement testing within IPPS-A Global Payroll module in support of Army Military Pay (AMP) integration testing.
• Designs, develops and executes reusable test cases and procedures based on requirements relevant to automated test planning and creation using Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Identifies, creates and secures test data as necessary
• Performs functional administration, configuration, and utilization of testing tools
• Collects, tracks and reports test metrics and briefs leadership on test status
Qualifications:
_Required:_
Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field with 3-5 years of software testing experience
• 3-5 years of PeopleSoft Global Payroll experience
• 3-5 years of PeopleSoft HCM experience
• Active Secret clearance
• Strong understanding of software testing techniques and methods with a solid quality assurance background
• Demonstrated experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment with understanding of test concepts, methodologies and practices
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner

Military Pay experience
• Military finance and accounting or GFEBS experience
• Experience working with DFAS
• Ability to develop and run SQL queries
• Knowledge of Ab Initio ETL
• Demonstrated experience working with continuous integration environments
• Security+ certification
• SAFe - Agilist certified.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$90,300-$189,600
