Risk Services partners with UMB management and its obligation to effectively manage compliance and related risks within the UMB family of corporations.
This team provides timely, accurate, and seasoned judgment related to regulatory compliance risk, suggests strategies for mitigating risk, promotes a strong culture of compliance, and fulfills regulatory expectations of administering effective compliance monitoring and other mandated programs.
As the Fair Lending Program Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing, maintaining and executing the comprehensive strategy of UMB Financial Corporation’s (UMBFC) Fair Lending compliance and Complaint Management programs to ensure objectives are successfully met. You will collaborate with appropriate associates and business lines to continuously evaluate business activities for potential fair lending risks, communicate results to decision makers, and promote the bank’s fair lending program.
_How you’ll spend your time:_
+ You will maintain a current and working understanding of relevant best practices, solutions, regulations, industry trends, and evolving and emerging threats.
+ You will lead the development and maintenance of fair lending risk indicator reporting and monitoring.
+ You will design, develop, implement, and administer the Fair Lending program as well as conduct annual fair lending risk assessment for independent business lines to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
+ You will oversee the scoping and planning of fair lending related self-evaluations and reviews such as policy and procedure reviews, key control testing, and comparative file reviews by partnering with Compliance engagement team. This includes overseeing the Complaint Management program, including management reporting and trend analysis.

+ You possess a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years compliance experience with thorough knowledge of fair lending laws, standards, and best practices
+ Previous experience with fair lending management in a federally regulated bank
+ Management experience in another financial institution
+ OR any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background
Compensation Range:
$83,200.00 - $178,800.00
