*This position will work on-site at our Minnesota Sex Offender Program, Dental Clinic - Moose Lake, MN facility*
*This position is part-time – 20 hours a pay-period and having, Saturday and Sunday off*
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual for our Minnesota Sex Offender Program. The Moose Lake Dental team has an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Dental Hygienist! Our clinic provides patient-centered dental care to individuals that are civilly committed sex offenders. This position will provide maximum oral hygiene to the clients of the Direct Care and Treatment Dental Clinic.
Primary responsibilities:
+ Perform all services permitted by the state Board of Dentistry so that maximum oral hygiene may be maintained for the clients of State Operated Services Dental Clinics.
+ Design and implement a preventive dentistry program, in consultation with the dentist, so that optimal levels of all clients’ oral hygiene can be maintained.
+ Ensure that infection control policies and procedures will be followed to maintain a safe environment for staff and clients.
+ Assist with clinic duties so that client services and clinic communications and operations run effectively and efficiently.
The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) provides comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of civilly committed sexual offenders. MSOP is a residential treatment facility for clients who have been court-ordered to receive ongoing treatment in a secure setting, offender treatment via the civil commitment process. Program staff provide comprehensive services including therapy, education programming, therapeutic recreation, vocational programming and volunteer services, health and wellness to clients in a therapeutic environment where safety and security are at the forefront of all campus activities.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Registration with the Minnesota Board of Dentistry as a Dental Hygienist.
Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience working with Dentrix and taking digital radiographs.
+ Experience with tele dentistry.
+ Patient-centered and willing to adapt to the needs of the clients.
