Ambulatory Clinical Supervisor – RN

• _Full-Time | 1st Shift | Monday–Friday_
Position Overview
Trinity Health is seeking a dedicated **Ambulatory Clinical Supervisor – RN** to oversee the daily operations of our ambulatory care department. This leadership role is responsible for supervising clinical staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting operational excellence in collaboration with the Practice Leader and Operations Director.
Key Responsibilities
+ Supervise and evaluate clinical care team members, including RNs and support staff
+ Manage daily staffing, patient flow, and clinical assignments
+ Ensure adequate inventory of equipment and supplies
+ Support staff development, performance evaluations, and mentoring
+ Collaborate with medical staff, sales representatives, and interdepartmental teams
+ Lead quality improvement initiatives and customer service strategies
+ Serve as a clinical expert and resource for the team
+ Participate in shared governance and support Magnet designation efforts
+ Maintain compliance with nursing standards and organizational policies
Qualifications
Education:
+ 🎓 _Required:_ Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN
+ 🎓 _Preferred:_ Master’s in Nursing
Licensure & Certification:
+ 🪪 _Required:_ Active RN license in the State of Michigan
+ ⭐ _Preferred:_ Specialty certification relevant to clinical area
Experience:
+ ✅ _Required:_ Minimum 3 years of nursing experience with progressive responsibility
+ ✅ Experience in direct patient care, staff education, and problem-solving
+ 🌟 _Preferred:_ Experience in complex healthcare environments and high-stress situations
Skills & Competencies:
+ Advanced critical thinking and conflict resolution
+ Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements
+ Proficiency with standard desktop systems and clinical software
+ Physical stamina and ability to meet job demands, including safe patient handling
