Location of position: Moline, IL
Job Duties
As our Worker’s Compensation Manager, you will successfully develop, implement, and supervise the day-to-day operations of KONE’s comprehensive workers’ compensation program. You will also provide excellent service to injured employees, work with the business to identify light duty work, and strive to return employees to work when medically cleared. The position will also develop the strategies, programs, and processes that will drive best in class services from key workers’ compensation vendors, including KONE’s third party administrator.
You will bring 5+ years of progressive and successful workers’ compensation or multi-line claims management experience, with 6+ years of leadership experience in a large and complex organization to KONE. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree or CPCU certification preferred. Other related degrees desired (In lieu of degree, 5+ years of relevant experience).
Other Hiring requirements
+ Extensive knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite and legal database software programs, experience utilizing matter management systems.
+ Ability to prioritize projects and work under pressure of deadlines.
+ Highly motivated, strong professional demeanor.
+ Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing all aspects of general liability claims and litigation.
+ Exceptional interpersonal communication (written and verbal) skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff and senior management.
+ General knowledge of casualty claims handling (General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Auto Liability).
+ Knowledge of Medicare Secondary Payer requirements and Medicare Set Asides.
+ Experience in a multi-jurisdiction environment is preferable.

Annual Base Pay Range:
In a single location:
The hiring range for this role is $105,600 – $145,200. The compensation package offered will depend on their ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
Variable Compensation
KONE Annual Bonus plan at 15% Target Incentive (50/50) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
