Job Summary:

Insight Global is hiring experienced Production Supervisors to support the launch of one our clients' new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC. We are looking to fill multiple supervisory positions across the following departments: winding, machining, assembly, and resin casting. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the planning and setup of your assigned department and will take on a leadership role as operations ramp up. This is a unique opportunity to join a foundational team and help shape a cutting-edge manufacturing environment from the ground up.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the planning team to design and implement efficient production processes for the assigned department (winding, machining, assembly, or resin casting).

Support the setup and installation of departmental equipment and machinery.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Lead and supervise operators to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Monitor production metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Train and support team members to enhance skills and performance.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow.

Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment performance, and inventory.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing, specifically in winding, machining, assembly, or resin casting. Would also accept heavy machinery/high voltage supervisory exp (cnc, lathe, aerospace, tier 1 automotive, switchgear, industrial compressor)

Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment related to the specific department, or a willingness to learn

Electrical background - will be around high voltage equipment

Willingness to spend time in Europe for technology transfer and training

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Effective communication skills Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field

Experience in setting up new facilities or departments
