Job Description

Insight Global is currently hiring a Support Engineer for a top Financial Services company in the Des Moines area. This Engineer will support in sunsetting a legacy system and moving into a more modern system. They will need to be open-minded to learning technologies and pivoting with the team and organization. They will also need to be the primary support person for the fellow engineers on the team. This person will be expected to have a strong understanding of the purpose of oriented architecture and understand sunsetting systems, deprecating code, deploying code and maintaining that code. This role will pay an hourly rate between $35-$50/hr.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience with full stack software engineering

Experience with Node and MongoDB for back end technologies

Experience with React for front end technologies

Experience with Kubernetes & Docker for Infrastructure tools

Familiar with the idea of converting paper forms to electronic forms

Azure Document Intelligence: OCR - character recognition, scanning, imaging and processing MS SQL
