    Job Description

    Our client at Scientific Games is looking for 4 Technical Operations Engineer to join the Technical Operations team of 9 Engineers working on the Central Gaming Systems. This individual will be responsible for providing ongoing support and maintenance of 24x7 real-time transaction processing platforms. The 24x7 on call support will be a rotating schedule between the engineers. The operations Engineer will ensure the performance, stability and reliability of the platforms/systems, and process optimization. This individual will provide their technical expertise to problem solve, and support production work with cross functional teams. The right candidate is a great team player/communicator who is passionate about problem solving for operational engineering and critical transaction systems, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Salary range: $80,000.00 - $95,000.0

    Skills and Requirements

    Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, networking).

     

    Base knowledge of Windows operations systems

     

    Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and system tasks.

     

    Containerization proficient hands-on experience with containerization application management

     

    o Kubernetes or Rancher

     

    Ansible for Infrastructure automation and configuration management

     

    Soft skills required; ability and hunger to learn, self-sufficient, great communication especially when the employee needs help, positive attitude, patient, team player. Podman - container management and deployment. null
