The BCA Materials and Processes (M&P) Engineering organization is looking for an experienced or senior-level Non-Destructive Evaluation Technical Analyst specializing in Materials, Process, and Physics to join our team in Tukwila, Washington. The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) M&P Engineering team is dedicated to developing and implementing innovative technologies that push the boundaries of aerospace. Position Responsibilities:

+ Evaluates parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications.

+ Analyzes failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures.

+ Generates test plans, identifies and categorizes failures, determines root cause and documents results and recommendations.

+ Proposes, develops and validates revisions to procedures and specifications.

+ Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes.

+ Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes and coordinates resolution of issues with suppliers and customers.

+ Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by designing, developing, fabricating, testing, evaluating and implementing new concepts and technology.

+ Provides knowledge and technical consultation to internal and external customers.

+ Works in a team environment.

+ Develop probes and techniques for prototype parts.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

+ 3+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)

+ Phased array ultrasonics experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

+ Aerospace industry experience

+ Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

+ Experience do you have reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

+ Current American Society for Nondestructive Testing/Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)/NDT) Certification in Eddy Current Testing

+ Current American Society for Nondestructive Testing/Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)/NDT) Certification in Ultrasonics

+ 3D modeling experience such as CATIA V5 or similar

+ Composite ultrasonic inspection experience

+ Robotics operation and programming experience

+ Eddy current array experience

+ Composite fabrication knowledge

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

+ Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $65,450 - $88,550

+ Summary pay range for Senior Level (Level 4): $78,200 - $105,800
