    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Goleta, California. In this role, you will assist with organizing, scanning, and maintaining records. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to efficient document handling processes within a meticulous environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Scan and digitize physical documents, including resident files and employee records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

    • Organize paper files systematically to facilitate easy retrieval and storage.

    • Handle file boxes and assist in their transportation as needed.

    • Maintain electronic filing systems by uploading scanned documents into appropriate databases.

    • Verify scanned documents for quality and ensure compliance with company filing standards.

    • Collaborate with team members to complete the scanning project within designated timelines.

    • Identify and address discrepancies in records, ensuring all files are properly accounted for.

    • Follow established procedures for secure handling of sensitive information.

     

    Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in a clerical, administrative, or record-keeping role.

     

    • Proficiency in scanning documents and using electronic filing systems.

    • Familiarity with organizing and maintaining both paper and digital files.

    • Ability to handle file boxes and perform physical tasks related to document storage.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure the accuracy of scanned records.

    • Knowledge of confidentiality practices when working with sensitive information.
