Description We are looking for an experienced Revenue Cycle Director to oversee and optimize all aspects of the revenue cycle within our organization. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong understanding of healthcare revenue processes, compliance, and performance improvement. Based in Dallas, Texas, you will play a key role in driving operational efficiency and maximizing financial outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the revenue cycle processes, including patient registration, claims processing, coding, billing, and collections.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce denials, and improve overall revenue cycle performance.
• Analyze key performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement while providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims and effective follow-up on outstanding receivables.
• Maintain compliance with payer agreements, regulatory requirements, and network affiliations.
• Oversee denial management processes, including resolution and appeals, to optimize revenue recovery.
• Collaborate with teams to forecast revenue, streamline workflows, and enhance reimbursement outcomes.
• Evaluate and implement revenue cycle management systems and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present performance reports to executive leadership, offering insights and strategies for sustained success. Requirements • Proven experience in managing healthcare revenue cycles, with a strong understanding of processes and regulations.
• Expertise in revenue recognition accounting and familiarity with ASC 606 standards.
• Proficiency in healthcare revenue cycle systems and accounts receivable management.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies for process improvement and revenue optimization.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and managing teams.
• Knowledge of payer policies, value-based care models, and healthcare compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with automation tools and technologies to streamline revenue cycle operations.
