About the Opportunity:

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead their finance operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Medicaid billing, budgeting, and financial analysis, and who is confident presenting financial data to executive leadership and board members.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting

+ Oversee Medicaid billing processes and ensure compliance with applicable regulations

+ Develop, monitor, and analyze organizational budgets and forecasts

+ Present financial reports and budget updates to senior leadership and board of directors

+ Lead and mentor a small accounting team, providing guidance and professional development

+ Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred

+ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience

+ Strong understanding of Medicaid billing and reimbursement processes

+ Experience preparing and presenting budgets to a Board of Directors

+ Proficient in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting

+ Excellent communication and leadership skills
