    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas on a contract-to-hire basis. This position offers the opportunity to manage key accounting functions while contributing to the financial health of the organization. Must have Revenue Cycle Management experience. This is a contract-to-hire position. 5 days a week onsite in Dallas, TX 75244.

    Contract-to-Hire Assistant Controller:

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle all aspects of month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

    • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure financial data integrity.

    • Prepare and post journal entries with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

    • Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

    • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between internal records and external statements.

    • Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes for efficient financial operations.

    • Utilize QuickBooks and Excel formulas to analyze and organize financial data.

    • Collaborate on healthcare revenue cycle tasks, ensuring proper tracking and reporting.

    • Support the implementation and management of SaaS accounting tools.

    • Contribute to revenue cycle processes with a focus on optimization and accuracy.

     

    Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.

     

    • Proficiency in handling month-end close and general ledger activities.

    • Strong skills in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations.

    • Experience with bank reconciliations and managing AP/AR processes.

    • Familiarity with QuickBooks and advanced Excel formulas.

    • Background in healthcare revenue cycle processes is highly desirable.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
