Description We are looking for a skilled Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. This is a Contract to permanent position, ideal for an individual who thrives in dynamic environments and has a proven record of managing complex projects. The role requires a balance of technical expertise and adaptive project management approaches to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee key project elements such as resource allocation, cost estimation, scheduling, and risk management to ensure accountability and progress.

• Proactively identify dependencies across teams and address potential risks or obstacles that may impact project timelines.

• Manage financial aspects of projects by tracking budgets, forecasting expenses, and aligning features with cost estimates and actual expenditures.

• Facilitate iterative delivery for software implementations while avoiding rigid methodologies, adapting processes to suit team and project needs.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project goals are aligned and effectively communicated.

• Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira to monitor project progress, manage tasks, and ensure transparency.

• Provide strategic insights to improve project outcomes and enhance team productivity.

• Monitor and report on project performance to ensure goals are met within established parameters. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on large-scale software or system implementations.

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and hybrid project management approaches, tailoring practices to suit team and project needs.

• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.

• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking for projects.

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Atlassian Jira for task and workflow management.

• Solid understanding of iterative delivery processes and software implementation strategies.
