We are looking for a senior systems engineer with experience in agile software development and aircraft mission planning to join our team. The team is responsible for developing software to generate mission and navigation databases for multiple DoD and Allied aircraft. This is a technical leadership position that will plan and direct systems engineering, integration, test, and analysis work to validate and verify mission planning software.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Work scope may include the following duties:
* Ensure overall functionality and quality of the product delivered to the user
* Lead requirements management—user needs analysis to Feature/User Story development
* Establish Acceptance Criteria and plan & conduct Feature testing
* Coordinate ad hoc testing during software development
* Direct planning for loading and testing mission/navigation databases in the aircraft avionics
* Plan and conduct formal qualification testing on mission planning software products
* Collaborate with the product management and software development teams
* Work periodic overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary

Education Desired/Required:
MS degree from an accredited college or university in any Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field and ten (10) years of related experience.
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
* Knowledge of Agile software development principles and practices
* Skilled in requirements analysis, development, and management
* Ability to plan and conduct systems-level testing
* Understanding of DoD/Allied mission planning and air operations (desired)
* Experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner in a multi development team environment (desired)
Clearance:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Travel:
Some travel may be required for this position
