We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Maintenance Technician (Electrician) within our Carthage, MO operation to help support our Automotive business. Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Wireless Charging, Motors and Actuators, and Mechanical Cables. If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.

The Electrician will be responsible for Installing, repairing, or maintaining electric energy equipment by performing electrical work.

Education & Experience:

+ 4-year degree, certification, or equivalent (is a plus)

+ Trained Technician (Electrician)

+ At least 2-4 years of working experience in the trained area in manufacturing companies

+ Openings available for Weekdays day shift (Monday to Thursday)

Knowledge, Skills and Ability that candidates need to have (not required to have all)

+ Perform industrial control component and wiring system troubleshooting and repair

+ Measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembly, and installing various types of conduit

+ Working knowledge of 480 volt, three-phase AC, 240/500 VDC, VFD and PLC systems

+ Understand and troubleshoot Ladder Logic, Industrial PLC Control systems

+ Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, and CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management Systems)
