What You’ll Do
As the Program Manager, you’ll be the strategic driver of a comprehensive energy efficiency program, overseeing daily operations, cross-functional teams, and client engagement. You’ll steer both internal staff and subcontractor efforts while optimizing program performance, fostering innovation, and building a culture of excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
+ Leading the full program lifecycle — from subcontractor recruitment and outreach to engineering, inspection, and reporting.
+ Building and mentoring a high-performing team while delivering exceptional client service.
+ Designing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance program operations.
+ Collaborating across departments to strengthen industry relationships and maximize program outcomes.
+ Overseeing project management activities and supervising junior team members.
+ Using data-driven insight to refine forecasting, financial tracking, and operational processes.
+ Resolving roadblocks and proactively identifying solutions to avoid production delays.
What You Bring
We’re seeking a collaborative, mission-driven professional with a strong technical foundation and a talent for driving results.
The ideal candidate has:
+ Deep knowledge of building science, utility programs, and residential/multifamily energy efficiency.
+ Experience in low-to-moderate income (LMI) programs a plus.
+ Strong communication skills, including public speaking and presenting to clients and internal stakeholders.
+ Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
+ Business-savvy decision-making and strategic thinking.
+ Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting under pressure.
+ Curiosity, cultural fluency, and a desire for continuous learning.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental/economic policy, business, or related field.
+ Master’s degree and certifications (PE, CEM, etc.) are a strong advantage.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
