Job Title: Mechanical EngineerResponsibilities:

+ Design and implement test plans, procedures, and experiments to evaluate system performance, efficiency, and reliability under various operating conditions.

+ Analyze and compare test data to simulations to identify trends, root causes of deviations, and opportunities for design improvement.

+ Maintain detailed test records and data summaries for internal use, certification, and design feedback.

+ Support the design and optimization of refrigeration systems including heat pumps, air conditioners, and dehumidifiers.

+ Contribute to the selection of appropriate refrigeration components based on performance, cost, and regulatory requirements.

+ Conduct simulations and performance analyses using engineering software tools.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

+ 5+ years of experience in refrigeration system design and/or lab testing.

+ Experience establishing and managing lab infrastructure and test environments.

+ Solid understanding of refrigeration cycle fundamentals, system dynamics, and thermodynamic performance.

+ Proficiency in simulation and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, MATLAB, LabVIEW, etc.).

+ Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation, sensors, and automated test environments.

+ Strong hands-on mechanical skills and a detail-oriented mindset for testing and troubleshooting complex systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

Will get on the req qual, will involve full bennies and pt/ holiday time

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Amesbury,MA.
