    THE POSITION

    Are you an HVAC and refrigeration professional seeking a fresh and exciting work environment? We are currently in search of a skilled HVAC Refrigeration Supervisor to join the services team at the PA Farm Show Complex and Expo Center. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and manage all refrigeration and HVAC operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency are maintained across our facility.     DESCRIPTION OF WORK

    In this position, you will lead a team comprising Refrigeration Mechanics, Trainees, Technicians, and Specialists responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems. Your duties will include ensuring the Farm Show Complex is adequately heated and cooled through various systems, such as gas-fired hot water boilers, gas-fired hot air systems, heat pumps, chilled water systems, and DX air conditioning systems, which can be operated manually or via the HVAC BAS computer controls.

    Work Schedule and Additional Information:

    + Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly

    + Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, during cooling season and 24/7 coverage with shift rotation as needed during heating season based on show schedule.

    + This position is considered essential and as such is required to report to working during emergencies and office closings.

    + Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

    + Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

    + Six years of experience in the maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems, units, and equipment including four years working with commercial or industrial HVAC equipment and controls ;or

    + An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes four years working with commercial or industrial HVAC or refrigeration equipment and controls.

    Special Requirements:

    + You must be in possession of an active EPA Universal Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification.

    + You must be able to perform essential job functions.
