    The Branch Operations Manager (BOM) drives the success of our branch operations by ensuring safety, controlling costs, managing the workforce, and overseeing inventory. The BOM delivers high-quality, efficient operations while maintaining excellent customer service standards and complying with all company policies and regulations. What You’ll Be Doing:

    Operations:

    + Provide direct and indirect oversight of branch employees, including production supervisors, shop/yard labor, field service, dispatchers, drivers, and coordinators.

    + Manage tasks, assignments, and daily duties for temporary workers and contractors.

    + Ensure clear communication with all branch employees.

    + Utilize systems for safe, timely, cost-effective, and high-quality operations.

    + Manage costs through efficient use of resources (time, people, money) and forward-looking planning tools.

    + Ensure compliance with work orders, inventory, purchasing, and damage billing.

    + Maintain accurate and available parts, VAPS, and resources for efficient operations.

    + Collaborate with HR to recruit, develop, and maintain a skilled workforce.

    + Manage logistics, ensuring safety, DOT compliance, and route efficiency.

    Production:

    + Ensure timely off-rents, thorough unit inspections, and accurate work orders, capturing damage billing as needed.

    + Relocate idle fleet and conduct physical inventory counts.

    + Track and issue vendor purchase orders; manage materials/VAPS distribution.

    + Drive first-time quality, reduce service calls, and implement corrective actions.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Customer Service:

    + Utilize feedback to improve processes and ensure high customer satisfaction.

    + Ensure on-time deliveries, returns, relocations, and service.

    + Maintain commercial readiness through operational excellence.

    Education and Qualifications:

    Requirements:

    + High school diploma, GED, or 3 years of relevant experience.

    + 5+ years managing direct reports in a service shop, manufacturing, or construction environment.

    + Experience managing a unit or departmental budget.

    + Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

    + Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    + Creative problem-solving and relationship-building with vendors.

    + Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities.

    Preferred:

    + Bachelor’s degree.

    + Experience working with customers.

    + Familiarity with Salesforce, SAP, Tableau, Hyperion, Teams/Zoom, or Smartsheets.

    + Knowledge of fleet management, logistics, inventory, dispatching, or building codes/permitting.
