CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Logistics Technician I.

**Pay Rate:** $13-$15/hour
**Work Hours:** M–F 8am–5pm

Description
The Logistics Technician I is responsible for coordinating and executing daily logistics activities to ensure timely and accurate shipments of materials. This includes verifying shipping paperwork, processing shipments using ERP systems, and working with internal departments and external carriers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to manage shifting priorities, and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Requirements
• Coordinate packing of customer and internal orders per transportation requirements
• Perform accuracy checks on shipping paperwork
• Use PeopleSoft to process shipment documents
• Schedule and modify carrier pick-ups and file customs paperwork
• Process UPS and FedEx small package shipments
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Planning, and IT teams to resolve shipment issues
• Monitor and coordinate trailer movement between site buildings

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with ERP-based logistics/shipping software
• Experience scheduling with 3rd party logistics carriers
• Ability to certify for forklift and box truck operation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and safety-focused mindset
• Root cause problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility to work overtime and varied shift start times
Preferred Qualifications
• Current forklift certification
• Experience with PeopleSoft and/or SAP logistics systems
• Prior warehouse experience with pick/pack robotics systems
• Ability to motivate team members and act as a role model
Shift Details
This position operates Monday–Friday with rotating shift schedules and some weekend coverage required:
+ **Rotation 1:** Start at 5:30am
+ **Rotation 2:** Start at 6:45am
+ **Rotation 3:** Start at 8:00amEach shift is 8 hours or until completion of work.
