• Security Dispatcher

    ASM Global (Sioux Falls, SD)


    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Secures property and facility.

    + Locks and unlocks facility doors.

    + Conducts routine property walks. Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering. Tour facility, examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.

    + Interacts with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees.

    + Secures the safety of all individuals on the premises.

    + Works independently and judges and assesses situations for immediate response.

    + Monitor security systems and cameras .

    + Notifies appropriate members of management or emergency systems when necessary.

    + Completes incident reports and logs as required.

    + Responds immediately to emergency situations – answer alarms and investigate disturbances.

    + Keep a record of all keys and equipment that are signed out.

    + Work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Skills and Abilities:

    + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising judgment and initiative.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    + Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required.

    + Ability to interact with all levels of staff, including management.

    + Must have a valid driver’s license.

    + Ability to work irregular hours including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

    + Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.

    + Good decision making and problem-solving skills.

    + Will be subject to acceptable background check.

    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some knowledge of computers including Microsoft suite. Additional computer training will be provided for advanced software platforms.

    Education/Experience:

    + High School diploma or GED

    + One year of security experience in a similar environment is preferred.
