Job Description Summary
The SVP, Investment Strategy is a senior member of the portfolio management team, with a dual focus on contributing to the investment strategy and deepening engagement across key stakeholders. This role brings together macro insight, multi-asset thinking, and strong fixed income expertise with a practical understanding of execution, communication and commercial alignment.
As both an investment contributor and business leader, the SVP will support the continued evolution of our income portfolios - working across research, trading, product, and distribution to help ensure Eagle's strategies remain disciplined, differentiated, and client-focused.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Investment Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
+ Contribute to the development and application of macro views across income-oriented and multi-asset portfolios
+ Collaborate with PMs, analysts, and traders on portfolio positioning, performance drivers, and construction techniques
+ Leverage tools and data to enhance investment insight, attribution analysis, and risk oversig **ht**
Advisor Engagement & Commercial Alignment
+ Represent investment strategy across advisor and end client audiences - translating complex market views into clear, actionable messages
+ Partner with distribution to support key relationships and strengthen platform visibility through events, content and meetings
+ Gather field intelligence to inform investment views, product development, and distribution
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
+ Coordinate closely with research, trading and operations to support consistency and alignment across the platform
+ Contribute to a collaborative and disciplined investment culture; support mentoring and knowledge sharing across the team
+ Partner with the Managing Director and senior leaders on planning, strategic initiatives, and growth opportunities
Key First-Year Objectives:
1. Investment & Portfolio Integration
+ Build deep familiarity with taxable corporate credit and dividend income strategies
+ Participate in model reviews, investment discussions and attribution analysis
2. Internal Alignment & Continued Process Optimization
+ Gain fluency in asset allocation methodologies and execution workflows currently used by the team
+ Engage closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and trading desk to reinforce collaboration and support workflows
3. Advisor & Commercial Engagement
+ Reconnect with key advisor and distribution partners (target 10+ meetings in 90 days)
+ Represent the team at client events, conferences, and strategic presentations (e.g., attend all key Raymond James conferences)
4. Strategic & Leadership Contribution
+ Support long-term planning around product growth and team development
+ Actively contribute to culture, mentoring, and cross-functional initiatives (e.g., within Eagle, RJIM, and RJ more broadly)
Education
Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Finance
Work Experience
General Experience - More than 15 years
Certifications
Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) - Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)

Up to 50%
