Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Range: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
_The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. This position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the pay scale provided._
The Senior Technician, I, Quality Control is responsible for composting, sampling and logging in of samples for analysis in the laboratory. In this role you will also be completing physical testing of samples. This is an entry level position with room for growth within the company. This position requires high attention to detail and good organizational skills to ensure accurate labeling, sample custody and proper documentation.

Responsibilities:
+ Logs incoming production and raw material samples for analytical testing
+ Maintains retention area for all laboratory samples
+ Reviews data to ensure accuracy prior to reporting
+ Completes physical testing of samples in a timely manner
+ Maintain analytical equipment and troubleshooting
+ Display and promote positive safety behaviors at all times; use proper personal protective equipment, appropriate safety tools, equipment and procedures to ensure that self and others go home safe each day

You bring:
+ High school diploma required
+ 2 year degree preferred
+ General knowledge of quality control techniques
+ Understanding of safety, laboratory hygiene and GMP rules
+ A strong sense of accountability
+ You are result-driven, flexible, and a team-player.
