    PDS Tech Commercial is looking for an experienced **General Repair Technician** to support aerospace ground equipment maintenance at **FE Warren AFB in Cheyenne, WY** . This role is vital to keeping aircraft mission-ready by maintaining and repairing essential ground support equipment (GSE).     About the Role

     

    In this full-time, onsite role, you’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on ground support equipment including diesel/gas engines, hydraulic units, heaters, air conditioning systems, and more. Starting on 1st shift, you must be available to rotate across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts as operational needs require.

    Position Details

    + **Location:** Cheyenne, WY

    + **Schedule:** Monday to Friday; must be able to work all shifts (start on 1st shift 7AM-3:30PM)

    + **Starting Pay :** $35.04 /hour

    + **Job Type:** Full-time Consultant (12 months)

    Key Responsibilities

    + Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical GSE components

    + Troubleshoot and repair diesel/gas engines, hydraulic power units, heaters, air conditioners, and ground handling equipment

    + Oversee equipment assembly, disassembly, and overhaul

    + Prepare equipment for calibration and testing

    + Perform corrosion control, priming, painting, and light fabrication tasks

    + Document maintenance procedures, inspections, and modifications per compliance standards

    + Perform validation/verification testing of components and systems

    + Ensure repairs meet quality and regulatory requirements

    Required Qualifications

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience with aircraft maintenance and ground support equipment repair

    + In-depth understanding of ground safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE protocols

    + Willingness and availability to work rotating shifts

    + **This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.**

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience maintaining or modifying MH-139 ground support equipment

    + General mechanical skills across multiple systems

    **Pay Details:** $35.04 per hour
