DESCRIPTION:
As a** **Superintendent** **at Tutor Perini Corp., reporting to the** **General Superintendent** **,** **you will have the opportunity to:
Supervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
Assume responsibility for planning, coordinating and supervising onsite functions** **(scheduling, subcontractor** **coordination, etc.).
Assume responsibility for compliance of crafts and subcontractors with contract documents, efficient use of materials & equipment, and timely performance of the project schedule.
Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of** **drawings, recommending** **construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.
Assist project management in developing, project schedule, site logistics plan and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc.
Support Site Specific Safety Plan.
Coordinate with on-site Owner employees.
Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
REQUIREMENTS:
Four (4) year Engineering, Construction Management or similar degree from an accredited institution desired. , HS or equivalent required.
20 years of field/supervisory experience to include at least 10 years in a Superintendent role on projects valued at 200 million or above.
Experience in new building and/or structure construction including piles, concrete, structural steel, etc.
Knowledge, skills and experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.
Experience with City, State, Federal Government Clients preferred
Knowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trade/unions/craft
MS Word/Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS Heavy bid
OSHA certification, First Aid Certs
Excellent written and verbal skills
