    Every day, our Charge Nurses deliver a level of excellence and compassionate care to our patients in the PCU.

    Positions details:

    + **Location:** St. Joseph's Hospital South – PCU – Riverview, Florida

    + **Status:** Full Time

    + **Shift:** 6:15 PM - 6:45 AM

    + Every other weekend requirement

    + **On Call:** Yes

    + Always in person

    Requirements:

    + RN (Registered Nurse) License

    + Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing, Bachelor’s in Healthcare related field, or RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months or hire/promotion

    + 2-years' RN experience in an Acute Care setting

    + BLS certification with the American Heart Association

    + ACLS certification with the American Heart Association

    The **Charge Nurse – PCU** responsibilities and skills:

    + Proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills

    + Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team

    + Responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information

    + Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse

    + Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence
