Job Description:

Provides professional nursing services for patients and their families within the nursing department. Collaborates with other health care providers and health care team members to achieve expected patient outcomes and improve the care environment. Nurses use the nursing process and evidence based practice to coordinate and provide direct care and services that support care.

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, this RN position is accountable for provision of competent patient care based on established standards and the nursing process. The Registered Nurse may assume expanded unit roles as available and assigned by Nurse Manager as a charge nurse or preceptor. The nurse supports peers in the delivery of patient care, uses appropriate team communication methods, and practices care that reflects the patient condition and priorities. The nurse provides support to team problem solving. The nurse identifies opportunities for self-growth and contributes to the development of other learners. The nurse contributes to safe unit environment and operations.

PAY RANGE: $38.76-$50.33
